Route 1: Roskilde Mid-town
The route is oriented around the most central part of the city focusing on historic buildings, squares, monuments and more.
It can take anything from less than one hour to a whole day to walk the route. An obvious longer stop on the route would be a visit to Roskilde Cathedral. And along the way there are many wonderful places where legs and mind can get a rest.

Stadtwanderung 1: Stadtmitte von Roskilde
Die Wanderung ist um den zentralsten Teil der Stadt ausgerichtet mit Sehenswürdigkeiten wie historischen Gebäuden, Plätzen, Denkmälern u. a. m.
Es kann von einer kleinen Stunde bis zu einem ganzen Tag dauern, die Wanderung zu Fuß zu machen. Ein empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt auf der Route wäre ein Besuch im Dom von Roskilde. Und unterwegs gibt es viele schöne Orte, wo sowohl Beine als auch Kopf eine Pause machen können.

Route 2: Art in the City
The route is oriented around the central part of the city focusing on sculptures, reliefs, installations and a gable painting.
It can take anything from less than one hour to a whole day to walk the route. It all depends on your pace, whether you want to pause by a piece of art, or are tempted by museums, shops or restaurants along the way.

Stadtwanderung 2: Kunst in der Stadt
Die Stadtwanderung ist um den zentralen Teil der Stadt ausgerichtet mit Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Skulpturen, Reliefen, Installationen und einem Giebelgemälde.
Es kann von einer kleinen Stunde bis zu einem ganzen Tag dauern, die Wanderung zu Fuß zu machen. Ihr Tempo hängt davon ab, ob Sie sich vor einem Kunstwerk in Gedanken verlieren oder von Museen, Geschäften oder Restaurants auf dem Weg gelockt werden.

Route 3: Roskilde Harbour, Skt. Jørgensbjerg and Folkeparken
The route takes you around the harbour area, in the beautiful old town of Skt. Jørgensbjerg, and further through Folkeparken with a beautiful view of the fjord. It ends in the cozy Rose Garden next to Roskilde Library.
The tour is approx. 3 km long and can be covered in everything from one to many hours, depending on your pace.

Stadtwanderung 3: Roskilde Hafen, Skt. Jørgensbjerg und der Volkspark
Die Stadtwanderung führt Sie durch das Hafengebiet, in die schöne Altstadt von Skt. Jørgensbjerg und weiter durch den Volkspark mit einem schönen Blick auf den Fjord. Sie endet im stimmungsvollen Rosengarten an der Bibliothek Roskilde.
Die Wanderung beträgt etwa 3 km, und sie dauert je nach Ihrem Tempo von 1 bis viele Stunden.

Route 4: Sankt Hans and Boserup
The route takes you from the harbour to Sankt Hans Hospital, which until 2016 served as the psychiatric hospital of the Municipality of Copenhagen for 200 years. In 2020, Roskilde Municipality bought the buildings in the western part of the area which will be developed into an area with housing, culture and business, and with focus on restoration of the natural environment.
The tour is 3 km long. It can be extended with a beautiful tour in Boserup Forest.

Stadtwanderung 4: Skt. Hans und Boserup
Die Wanderungen führt Sie vom Hafen bis zum Skt. Hans Hospital, das 200 Jahre lang bis 2016 als psychiatrisches Krankenhaus für Gemeinde Kopenhagen diente. Im Jahr 2020 kaufte die Gemeinde Roskilde den westlichen Teil des Gebäudes und entwickelt das Gebiet mit Wiederherstellung der Natur, mit Wohnungen, Kultur und Gewerbe.
Die Route beträgt 3 km. Sie lässt sich mit einem schönen Spaziergang im Boserup Wald erweitern.

Route 5: Musicon
The route takes you around the creative district of Roskilde, which is located in a former industrial area between Roskilde Dyrskueplads (the local showground) and Roskilde Station. In the neighbourhood you will find a dance theatre, museum, art school, skate hall, eating places, rehearsal rooms and many different types of accommodation.
The route is less than 2 km long. Thanks to all the eventful experiences of the tour, it will leave you with unforgettable impressions.

Stadtwanderung 5: Musicon
Die Stadtwanderung führt Sie durch das Kreativquartier von Roskilde, das sich in einem ehemaligen Industriegebiet zwischen dem Tierschaugelände und dem Bahnhof von Roskilde befindet. Im Viertel finden Sie Tanztheater, Museum, Kunstschule, Skatehalle, Speisegaststätten, Übungsräume und viele verschiedene Arten von Wohnungen.
Die Route beträgt weniger als 2 km, und wird mit all den besonderen Erlebnissen, die die Wanderung bietet, viele unvergessliche Eindrücke geben.
